作品围绕香港的都市景观展开叙述，所谓“快乐区域”即是艺术家对于现代城市的戏谑定义，一个拥有边界，且以快乐为目的性生存的场域。作品题为《两岸》，即是以维多利亚海峡间隔的港岛和九龙两傍为内容底本，又以“两岸往还”、“目力所及”、“界限消失”和“边界上空”四个章节叙述此岸和彼岸之间的关系。此外，“两岸”作为一个表示间隔和界限的文化意象，艺术家亦在作品中借以具象的两岸景观在更广义的层面上对此指涉。

This work narrates the urban landscape of Hong Kong, “Happy Valley" is both a microcosm of Hong Kong and the artist's humorous nick name of the modern metropolis, a defined space wherein the existential goal is pleasure. The title “Two Shore” primarily refers to Hong Kong Island and Kowloon on either side of the Victoria Harbour. Their relationship is explored through four chapters in the video: Back and Forth, The Eyes Can See, Disappearing Boundaries and Above the Border. Moreover, by depicting urban landscapes on both sides of the Harbour, the artist also points to the more abstract ideas of distance and separateness which are implied by the title of this work.
